I had wanted to paint a big wall for a few years but never had a wall. I got the idea to stretch canvas onto the wall when I had interned with a wallpaper designer. She also made beautiful murals and had a client who wanted it to be a sort of hand painted wallpaper. I learned how to stretch a canvas the proper way and how to preserve the paint.
